Volkswagen is set to show a Passat Performance concept car at next weeks Detroit Auto Show. The more sporty, U.S. built model will come with a new 1.8-liter direct-injected, turbocharged, TSI four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. To show the Passat Performance Concept’s sportier credentials, it is fitted with larger 19-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension with lower ride height, and electro-mechanical steering.
The Detroit Auto Show starts January 14th and goes through the 27th.
