Now that the dust has settled and the Geneva Auto show 2013 is a memory of the past, auto reviewers, and makers continue to talk about the elegance and efficiency of the Volkswagen XL1. The XL1 is being called the world’s most fuel efficient vehicle as a plug in hybrid with estimated 261 mpg. 11 years after the car was originally announced, Ferdinand Piech a member of Volkswagen’s advisory board, finally saw this car come to fruition. Piech just wanted a car that could travel 100 km on a litre of petrol. The XL1 has now opened the doors for Volkswagen to use the technologies of this car in their future car models.

Most of the views that consumers have been given have been of the outside of the XL1. We were able to find some pictures through Auto-types.com that were taken inside and out giving a better view of the car.
